Speaker comments on OSEEGIB pharmacy
plan
House Speaker Kris
Steele, R-Shawnee, today issued the following statement on the Oklahoma State
and Education Employees Group Insurance Board vote on its new pharmacy
plan:
“It’s a win-win for
everyone. Plan participants will get medication without a premium increase,
millions of taxpayer dollars will be saved and local pharmacies will compete in
a fair marketplace. All legislators, pharmacists, state officials and OSEEGIB
board members involved in this process should be commended for coming together
and hammering out a true compromise.” – House Speaker Kris Steele, R-Shawnee
